This picture of the funeral of George V was specially flown by aeroplane from London to Yorkshire to make it into the latest edition in 1936.

The photo was found in the archives for our weekly nostalgia supplement Picture Past. Others show Prime Minister James Callaghan during a visit to Meltham, near Huddersfield, and the return to racing after the 1968 foot-and-mouth outbreak. You can also go back in time to the age long before television-on-demand and see the cinebox at the Venezia Coffee Lounge in Bradford in 1963.
