British Showjumping is to introduce an apprenticeship scheme which will help those wanting to work with horses gain formal qualifications. The training will be recognised as being the equivalent to five GCSEs and advanced level training will be equivalent to gaining two A-levels.
“It means you can earn whilst you learn, gaining recognised qualifications,” said Chris Hewlett of Haddon Training, the centre which will be running this important scheme in partnership with British Showjumping.
