Sheffield Wednesday dealt Westwood blow
The Republic of Ireland international, named as the goalkeeper in last season’s PFA Championship line-up, was taken to hospital after being forced off in the second half of Saturday’s 2-1 loss at Ipswich Town - after being kneed in the back.
Carvalhal is unaware of the exact medical situation regarding the keeper, but has ruled him out of tomorrow’s game.

Hide AdJoe Wildsmith came on as a substitute to replace him, making just his second Owls appearance and is likely to start tomorrow.
Carvalhal said: “He (Westwood) is out of the game, I am totally sure and I must talk with the doctor about the problem.
“This kind of situation I cannot answer. It is not a normal situation with the player. I don’t know (what it is), but I know that the player is out and will be out for the next days.
“But after this, I don’t know. They will do a re-evaluation after.”
