Rotherham United: Millers handed Frecklington contract boost
Frecklington, one of the shining lights of the club’s promotion to the Championship last term, has put pen-to-paper on a deal that will see him remain at the AESSEAL New York Stadium until the summer of 2017.
All told, the former Peterborough United and Lincoln City player has made 101 appearances for the Millers and also played an integral part in their successful promotion campaign from League Two in 2012-13, netting a late goal in their promotion-clinching victory over Aldershot in April 2013.

Hide AdFrecklington has started 15 games for the Millers in the Championship this season and has revealed his delight at agreeing fresh terms.
He said: “It’s a sign that things have gone well so far, so to get the deal done to commit myself to another couple of years, hopefully a successful couple of years, I’m very pleased.
“Getting this done early is very important because I can just concentrate purely on football and hopefully put in the performances on the pitch to make the supporters happy.”
The Millers are also speaking with several other contracted players about extending their deals with the club.
