HERE are the Huddersfield Town player ratings from Saturday afternoon's home game against Brentford at the John Smith's Stadium.

Schofield: Made a great save by his legs to thwart Janelt in the first half. But little chance with the leveller from Sorensen. 6

Vallejo: Did his bit to help put Town in front when he dispossessed Norgaard, but forced to come off later on in half after looking a little groggy and still feeling the after-effects from receiving treatment early on following an aerial challenge. 6

Keogh: Alert and held his position and kept his discipline. 7

Sarr: Fortunate not to concede a penalty when he was clearly not in the control of the situation after misjudging a lofted pass, which hit his arm. Made a brilliant clearance to deny Jansson, but Sorensen netted after the ball was recycled. 7

Duhaney: Up against a lively customer in Canos, but stuck to his guns and went as close as any Town player in the second half. 7

Hogg: Snapped away in the centre ground and set the tone early on. Took one for the team with a late booking. 7

O’Brien: Seized upon loose play from Brentford in a flash to put the hosts ahead. Showed how important he is to the cause and was full of energy and posed problems to Brentford. Maybe should have earned a penalty as well. 8

Pipa: An outlet on the left and had a sound opening. But started to have his hands full as Brentford pressed after a slow start. 6

Sanogo: A tireless worker and delivered a whole-hearted performance. Up for the fight, although limited goal threat. 6

Holmes: Did a decent enough job for the team on the right and worked hard before making way. 6

Campbell: A typical selfless performance in the number ten role and kept going. 6
