Helik: At full stretch at times against Gallagher, but also made some key clearances. 6

Andersen: Did not mess about in clearing his lines and it was a night for no-frills in tough conditions. Went close with a header in the second half. 8

Brittain: Did not have it all his own way going forward, with Douglas monitoring him well enough. Came into it in the second half and showed great energy. 7

Palmer: Did go close with a downward volley. But the demanding Ismael will have been wanting more. 5

Mowatt: Tried to dictate and solve the puzzle against a disciplined Rovers side. Made a statement late on. 7

Styles: Could not impose himself in trademark fashion and was replaced at the break by Jordan Williams. Rovers took care of him well. 5

Chaplin: As lively as anyone in the first half and tried to make things happen. Went close with a well-executed volley. 6

Woodrow: Headed over a decent first-half chance, but did not get too much change out of Lenihan and co. 6

Morris (Adeboyejo 55). Continued his excellent week with an eye-catching strike and played a part in the second. 8
