Hull City 2 Burnley 3: Barmby left stunned by Burnley fightback
Nick Barmby made just one enforced change for his first home game in charge of Hull City With Aaron Mclean banned, Robbie Brady played in a three-man strike force, spearheaded by Matty Fryatt with Cameron Stewart on the other flank.
Burnley switched to a 4-5-1 formation, bringing in left-back Ben Mee and flank player Junior Stanislas with Brian Easton and striker Sam Vokes dropped to the bench.

There were few other chances created in the first period with Tigers goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi virtually unemployed.
The Tigers had an early let-off after the break when Rodriguez swivelled and struck the bar but Fryatt made it 2-0 when he smashed the ball past a startled Lee Grant from Robert Koren’s through ball.
Burnley grabbed a 78th-minute lifeline when central defender David Edgar headed home from Ross Wallace’s cross following a free-kick from near halfway.

The in stoppage time, Burnley completed their comeback when Rodriguez beat the offside trap and drilled the ball post Gulacsi for the winner.
Barmby, who celebrated a 2-0 win at Derby in his first match in charge last Saturday, admitted: “We lost our composure completely after their first goal.
“I wouldn’t say we were at our best today but at 2-0 we were comfortable. Then we lost our shape in the last 15 minutes and were wide open.
