UPDATED/VIDEO: Investigation after 1,300 tonne waste stack blaze at Leeds scrap yard
Fire crews were alerted to the blaze at EMR Leeds, Knowsthorpe Way, Cross Green Industrial Estate just after 12.30pm on Sunday.
Around 20 firefighters were at the scene at the height of the blaze, which involved a 30m x 40m 1,300 tonne waste stack of metal, car parts, rubber and oil.

Hide AdFlames reached around 15m high and plumes of black smoke followed by white smoke could be seen from across the city.
Two fire engines from Hunslet were initially called out to the incident and three more engines from Killingbeck and Leeds Central Fire Stations were later sent to deal with the blaze.
West Yorkshire Fire Service said three pumps were at the site overnight and are likely to remain at the scene for the rest of today (Monday October 19) as damping down continues.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
No-one was injured in the incident.
