Two murder probes in Hull: Man, 21, killed in Valentine's Day clash
Police were summoned by the ambulance service at 6.04pm yesterday when paramedics attended a man with life-threatening injuries after an altercation involving a number of people on West Parade near Spring Bank.
The victim was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment, but later died as a result of his injuries.

Hide AdA police cordon was put in place at the scene as the investigation began.
Two men, aged 30 and 38, arrested on suspicion of murder, remain in police custody this morning.
In a second, unrelated incident, police have arrested a 20-year-old man for the suspected murder of a 39-year-old, following a serious assault outside a property on Westbourne Avenue.
Detective Chief Inspector Matt Baldwin, who is leading the West Parade investigation, said: “Humberside Police have launched a murder investigation after a violent altercation led to the death of a 21-year-old man.

Hide Ad“The man’s family are being supported by specially trained officers.
“A team of detectives are investigating the murder and will be carrying out local enquiries around West Parade and reviewing CCTV in the area.
“Despite making two arrests we still need the public’s help and I would urge anyone who witnessed the altercation, which happened around 6pm on West Parade/Spring Bank area to call the police.
“We would also like to speak to anyone in the area around the time of the incident as they may have witnessed something small that could potentially assist us with our enquiries.”
