Tributes to soldier who was 'bright star'
Cpl Moore, of The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland (1 Scots), died in an explosion in Afghanistan last month. The 22-year-old was on a routine night patrol in Helmand Province, when an improvised explosive device detonated, killing him and Private Sean McDonald, 26.
More than 200 colleagues and family members paid tribute to Cpl Moore at Cadzow Parish Church in Hamilton, Lanarkshire. Mourners wept as his coffin, with his cap and belt, was carried in to the church.

I can think of no more fitting tribute to him.”
