Video: Gas blast rips through three houses in Sheffield
The fire service confirmed one house had been “destroyed” and two more “badly damaged” in the blast, which occured at around 9am this morning.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said that there had been no reports of serious injuries so far.

Hide AdHe added: “Police are currently dealing with an explosion at a house on Dundas Road, Tinsley, Sheffield.
“Initial information indicates that gas is the source of the explosion.
“Reports suggest two houses have been affected in the explosion. No serious injuries have been reported so far. Emergency services are currently at the scene.”
A number of roads, including Dundas Road, St Lawrence Road, Town Street and Norborough Road, have been closed to traffic, while residents in Dundas Road have also been evacuated.
A fire service spokesman said that four fire engines have been sent to the scene.
One man was taken to hospital with suspected minor injuries.
