Pedestrian airlifted to hospital after collision in Sheffield

Residents said an elderly man was injured in the incident in Selborne Road, Crosspool, this morning.

An air ambulance was scrambled to the scene and landed in nearby Sandygate Road.

Police officers sealed off the area while medics treated the casualty before he was airlifted to hospital.
