Revealed: the most popular baby names so far in 2016
In order to distinguish the most popular baby names, Bounty Baby Club, a well-known parenting advice site, has used its 100,000 visitors a month to get the conclusion for their search.
They've discovered that only a few favourites of recent years are still holding their popularity, but the results have revealed some new up and coming themes and trends.

Out of the top 100 most popular names, the biggest movers have been Caleb, jumping up nine positions to 19th, Jenson, rising up five places to 26th and Ellie, rising up nine positions to ninth.
Nevertheless, the biggest climber so far this year has been Arlo, which was previously outside of the top 50 and is now cementing a top 10 position at 6th. There are a few other non-listed names that you may start to hear more, such as Freddie, Aaron, Phoebe, Ellis and Millie.
Results show that for girls, Sienna, Mia, Sophia, Mila and Scarlett are on the decline in 2016. Yesterday’s news for boys’ names include Dylan, Sebastian, Daniel and Harrison which are proving less popular than they have in recent years.
