Mountain rescue teams help district nurse stranded in deep snow in the North York Moors
The woman was travelling to a home visit when she realised she was stuck at Glaisdale Rigg in the North York Moors National Park.
Members of Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue managed to pinpoint her location based on her mobile phone data, and the incident was transferred to Cleveland Mountain Rescue as it was in their coverage area.

Hide AdTwo Land Rovers carrying four Cleveland volunteers were sent to the scene while another call handler spoke to the nurse, who was reported that she was well.
The crews were then able to free her car and escort her to Lealholm, from where she was able to continue her journey.
The rescue took three hours including travel time to and from the team's base.
