MPs out of touch with reality
HERE we go again – a totally incompetent group of Labour MPs having a go at David Cameron for referring to a female MP as “dear” (Yorkshire Post, April 28). Heavens above, haven’t this lot anything better to do than waste their time and money on such trivia?
It really is time this country of ours grew up and started by getting rid of the Left wing, politically correct brigade before we all drown in their apathy and interference in the lives of everyday decent people.

JAYNE Dowle is right (Yorkshire Post, April 28). The pay of headteachers should be public knowledge. Such transparency will help parents determine whether they offer value for money – and are doing sufficient to educate our children.
This culture of secrecy is one reason why there is so much mistrust of the public sector and so forth.
