Details revealed of windmill funds drive
The Holgate Windmill Preservation Society will provide details at its annual meeting about efforts to raise the six-figure sum which is still needed to ensure that the work on the historic building in York can be completed.
The preservation society is pursuing a variety of avenues to raise the funds, including submitted applications for grants from organisations such as the Heritage Lottery Fund to secure the cash to fit the sails and complete the restoration.
