Suspect appears in court after man stabbed in neck on Christmas Eve in Yorkshire

A man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court over a stabbing on Christmas Eve.

Joshua Reding, 24, of Limerick Close, Hull, was charged with wounding with intent and appeared at Hull Magistrates Court on Christmas Eve. He was remanded into custody to appear at crown court at a later date.

The charges are in relation to an incident on Chamberlain Street, Sutton-on-Hull, on Christmas Eve, where a man was stabbed in the neck.

Humberside Police said: “It was reported that a man had been stabbed at around 9.20am following an altercation between two men. The victim sustained a serious injury to his neck and was taken to hospital to receive medical treatment.”
