Leeds pervert had almost 250,000 child porn images
James Thrower, 41, was arrested after exchanging sexual fantasies with an undercover police officers in a chat room.
Officers discovered 245,805 illegal images after seizing computer equipment and phones from his home on Primley Park Lane, Alwoodley, in October 2013. Leeds Crown Court heard Thrower’s offending came to light after he was caught in a covert operation led by Kent Police.

Hide AdThrower sent sexual images of children to an undercover officer before discussing child abuse.
Some of the images which were examined by officers were found to be among the most serious and featured adults having sex with children.
The court heard Thrower had been previously been cautioned, in 2004, for possessing abusive images of children.
Thrower pleaded guilty to 21 offences of possession of indecent images of children. Catherine Silverton, mitigating, said Thrower was ashamed of what he had done and wanted to receive treatment to prevent him from re-offending.
Thrower was jailed for two years.

Hide AdJudge Guy Kearl, QC, said: “It is your sort of behaviour that leads to the exploitation of children in this way.
“If there was no market then there would be no trade and fewer child victims.”
Thrower was also ordered to go on the sex offenders register.
