Did baby boy lie undiscovered in Grimsby garden drain for three years?
A post-mortem conducted by a Home Office pathologist proved inconclusive - but revealed the baby was a boy, had gone the full term and was found with a 2013-dated coin.
Detectives are continuing to try to find the mother of the baby after it was first discovered in the grounds of the home in Scartho Road, Grimsby, at around 12.50pm last Thursday.

“However, the cause of his death has not been determined. It is also unknown how long his body had been in situ, but items found with him suggest it was likely to have been post 2013.”
Further tests and DNA sampling will now be completed and officers will continue to follow up lines of enquiry.
DI Calvert added: “I would personally like to take this opportunity to appeal to anyone who may have information relevant to this enquiry - no matter how insignificant they believe it to be - to come forward to us.

The baby’s body was discovered by a plumber who was called to the home to deal with a blocked drain and the woman homeowner, aged in her 50s, confirmed the baby was found in a bag by the plumber.
Samples taken during the post mortem are now being sent off for further testing and DNA profiling.
Calls with information should be made to 101 quoting log number 205 of February 11.
