Bridlington: Benefits cheat told to repay £4,000
A woman aged 57 has been ordered to repay more than £4,000 after admitting benefit fraud.
Carol Kirkham, of The Promenade, Bridlington, fraudulently claimed £4,028.22 in benefits between January and October last year by failing to declare she was working.
Kirkham, who admitted benefit fraud at Bridlington Magistrates’ Court, was also given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs.
