Bypass op patients to take part in charity jog

PATIENTS who have undergone heart bypass surgery have been given permission by their doctors to take part in Sheffield’s Santa Jog to raise cash for the charity which helped them.

Members of Graves’ Heartraisers, who meet at Graves Leisure Centre in Norton, Sheffield, are organising their own team of 50 to participate in the British Heart Foundation’s festive fundraiser.

David Pugsley, 71, of Totley, and Barry Gall, also 71, of Beauchief, are part of the Graves team.
