Autumn finish date for floods work
The Environment Agency is carrying out 3m flood defence work in Burstwick and Hedon, two of the communities that were worst hit by the 2007 floods.
The agency said the project would reduce the risk of flooding to more than 350 properties in Hedon and more than 100 in Burstwick, mainly in Skeckling Close.

Two new 1.5-metre (5ft) high embankments are being built in Burstwick, one between Hedon Salads and Stud Farm, with a second at the farm to protect buildings and houses.
Work at Burstwick and Hedon was suspended last winter because the ground became too wet and muddy for earthmoving equipment.
Project manager Jamie Wolstencroft said: "We would like to thank residents for their patience while work has been under way, and with the extra traffic construction has generated."
