Plant of the week: Sundance
Vivid yellow: A little beacon of light in a time of darkness.
This is Choisya ternata ‘Sundance’, a lovely evergreen shrub which, given the right conditions, can provide months of theses vivid yellow leaves.
It’s not the fastest of growers, but leave it to reach its potential and it may eventually top out at eight feet.

Hide AdFull sun is best (shade encourages green, not yellow, foliage) and a rich, well-drained soil is appreciated. Cold winds can scorch the leaves, so if you can offer a sheltered, south-facing site, do so.
