On the grapevine: Your invitation to a tasting challenge
You don’t have to be the world’s best taster, just willing to take part in one of the world’s largest wine competitions. You will blind taste dozens of wines in the day, and talk through them with the rest of the panel.
You’ll meet lots of well-known names from the wine world and you get a free lunch. Sadly, you have to cover your own costs of getting there, but it is a great day out.

Gourmet dining
Chez Vin, of Otley, will hold their first gourmet dinner of the year at The Cut Restaurant, in Shipley, on Monday, March 28. There will be a five-ourse dinner, with 6 wines, all for £45. The theme this time is – ‘Italian wines don’t always need Italian food’, which sounds intriguing. Contact David on 01943 466143 for details.
