Tributes pour in for Prestons’ chairman
Prestons began as a agricultural contracting business in 1936.
But due to the diesel shortage during the Suez crisis, it became a haulage firm.
Despite this change, Mr Preston never lost touch with his farming roots buying the village farm at Hutton Rudby in the 1970s.
Mrs Preston said: “He never lost that love.”
