Showcase success for ITM Power as unique technology takes hold
The AIM-listed Sheffield firm, which has developed unique electrolyser technology to create hydrogen from renewable energy sources, showcased its products at the National Hydrogen Association's Conference in California and the Hannover Messe in Germany.
ITM aims for its technology to be used in the workplace, home and vehicles.

Hide AdThe company can create hydrogen of almost 100 per cent purity, to be compressed for use when needed.
"The response from international companies and distributors at the two shows provided welcome recognition that our product strategy is the right way forward to commercialise the company's valuable intellectual property rights," said chief executive Graham Cooley.
"We now need to follow up on the interest we have generated to secure channels to the market."
The firm has applied for CE marking to enable it to sell its electrolysers in Europe.

Hide AdITM said it won numerous endorsements from large and established businesses at the Hannover Messe. At the NHA conference ITM presented a paper outlining its experience in hydrogen refuelling for transport.
The company is now following up 350 inquiries generated by the shows and planning further events.
Later this month it will present at a Dutch property trade fair, NEPROM, with its partner Ballast Nedam. Dr Cooley will also present at the All Energy 2010 conference in Aberdeen on May 20.
On June 8 ITM will be at building conference PROVADA in Amsterdam, again with Ballast Nedam.
