Moving Out 2 publisher Yorkshire-based Team 17 has seen revenue increase by 31 per cent
This year, the Wakefield firm has been responsible for the release of games including Dredge, Trepang2 and Killer Frequency.
It is also the publisher for new game Moving Out 2, which was recently launched to critical acclaim.

Hide AdThe firm also announced adjusted EBITDA of £16.5 million, and an 18 per cent increase in gross profit, up to £30.2 million.

Under its StoryToys banner, Team 17 also launched three new apps in the first half of the year, including Barbie Color Creations, Lego Duplo Disney Mickey and Friends, and Marvel HQ.

Hide AdThe company released 17 new downloadable content packaged across 13 titles, and rose its content portfolio to now comprise over 800 digital revenue lines.
The firm has also announced that its group headcount has risen from 392 for the financial year 2022, to 438.
Ms Bestwick noted that the firm remained “mindful” of the competitive environment in the gaming industry.
She said: “We are mindful that the gaming environment remains highly competitive, and we continuously review cost efficiencies to ensure we have the right balance between internal and outsourced resources in our service areas.

Under its astragon title, the firm completed the acquisition of Independent Arts Software GmbH in April of this year, expanding its working simulation development team to accelerate the creation and launch of a new intellectual property.
