Dickinson's Real Deal star Tim Hogarth sells Bradford shops to focus on York antique centre

Dickinson’s Real Deal star Tim Hogarth has sold his two shops in Bradford city centre to pawnbroking chain Harvey and Thompson Ltd.

The TV antiques show dealer has made the sale to allow him to concentrate his efforts on his Red House Antique Centre in York and his broadcasting work.

The sale of Tim Hogarth Gold Buyers & Pawn Brokers on Hustlergate and Cash For Gold on James Street to H&T was overseen by KBS Corporate.

Tim said it was vital to him that the sale was a good fit for his Bradford customers and the six staff members who work in the shops.

“It was absolutely 100 per cent important to me to make sure the staff, some of whom I had trained up and had worked for me since leaving school, were looked after. I have great confidence that the transition will prove to be nice and easy for the staff to move over and I know that will be the priority for H&T as well.

“I’m looking to continue with Red House Antiques and spend more time there. Having the Bradford shops was quite intense and took up a lot of time, which meant I couldn’t spend as much time at Red House.”
