Cleckheaton furniture firm gives away recycled office chairs to key workers setting up at home
Over2Hills re-purposes redundant office furniture, such as desks, chairs and cabinets, and has been giving it away to registered charities since 2008.
But since lockdown began, and more and more of us have been forced to set up temporary offices at home, the company has been donating office furniture to key workers, and in particular, NHS staff, to ensure they have a stress-free and comfortable transition to home working.

Director Eric Smipson said: "When lock down began it became evident that a lot of people who don't usually do so would be working from home, including a lot of NHS workers who aren't necessarily front-line, but admin staff. People need a comfortable working environment to be able to get on with their jobs, and an office chair can cost from £100 to £200.
"There's no catch, they are totally free of charge. We just wanted to do something to help."
