Sheffield beats Leeds to Kylie Minogue gig
The singer, currently appearing on BBC1’s The Voice, will play a series of dates to support her new album ‘Kiss Me Once, which is released today.
But her dates do not include the new arena in Leeds, a rival to Sheffield’s long-established venue.

Hide AdThe tour will open at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on 24 September before moving on to dates in Manchester, London, Cardiff, Nottingham, Birmingham, Dublin, Belfast, Newcastle and Glasgow, as well as Sheffield, which closes the tour on Thursday, November 13.
It is the first time the singer/actress, whose hits include Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and Confide In Me, has played in the UK since the Anti Tour in April 2012.
The new album, which features tracks by Haim producer Ariel Rechtshaid as well as Pharrell Williams, is her first for four years.
